Developed new backend modules in C#: - A windows service to monitor certain data changes and conditions which are reported then to certain database tables - A generic export engine to generate exported data with great flexibilty Introduced unit tests in the development department, introduced new TFS features like CI, automated deployment of some generated documentation.

The main software was a C# / Forms application which analysed online poker hand histories. I was responisble for enhancing with new features as well as bug fixes. Apart from the work on the actual software, I also moderated the technical part of the PS Elephant forum where bugs and questions where raised and discussed. Tech used was - C# - MS Workflow Engine - WinForms - Scrum / agile development

I was responsible for maintaining existing C# applications. These applications did run on Windows and Linux using Mono.

As we finalized the development of our existing solutions for scanning large format paper, I moved to the team which implemented the next generation large format scanning solution. The software has been designed and build from the ground up new and as we did so, we slowly grew the team. We used at the time modern frameworks like WPF, UML and design patterns. Apart from development, I also took over the lead during a longer absence of my team lead.

I was responsible for maintenance and improvement of a module for mass scanning documents. Apart from that, I had responsibilities in conceptual and QA work. Other responsibilities were - Created a shared library for internal use - Created a module to handle digital signatures - Developed a module to notify administrators in case of problems

I had a wide range of tasks - from development up to leading a team including personnel responsibility. I started developing on an editor for large b/w documents. Later I switched to the press clipping area and got promoted team lead. I was responsible for the team and the product. Apart from still developing on that module, I also had tasks in installing and training the modules at customer site - in Germany as well as in Europe.
