LEW Service & Consulting GmbH is a service company of the LEW Group. In addition to central service functions, our spectrum primarily includes IT, customer service and commercial services. In this way, we are driving forward the digital transformation of the entire LEW Group. Our team works on the new and further development of digital solutions and applications for the LEW Group - our focus is particularly on the LEW Group's websites and customer portals. We primarily work with the Microsoft Tech Stack and Azure Cloud.

Our sister company LEW Wasserkraft GmbH operates a total of 36 hydroelectric power plants on Lech, Wertach, Iller, Günz and Danube, which generate around one billion kilowatt hours of renewable electricity every year in a climate-neutral manner for around 320,000 households. We support them in the digitalization of their processes - and this is where you come into play: With your expertise, you will gain a targeted overview of all data and develop an overall data concept that will help LWK advance in many ways in optimizing its processes and data use. Specifically, this means:

• Your daily business: You design and develop data pipelines that are used to collect and integrate data from different sources and keep them up to date
• Don't settle for half measures: Your data models are optimized so that they are of high quality and all the data they contain is correct, complete and consistent (keyword: integrity).
• You know your stuff: In order to process large amounts of data in a targeted manner despite their size and complexity, you use state-of-the-art big data architectures in the Microsoft environment
• You have the know-how: Thanks to your practical experience, you can draw on a wealth of experience with suitable methods for data management and storage and implement them with us Better together: You regularly exchange ideas with your data colleagues (data analysts and data scientists (m/f/d)) internally and within the E.ON Group in order to bundle knowledge and gain data-driven insights

That's what we want

• You have completed an IT degree (possibly with a specialization in data) or IT training; Alternatively, you are a career changer and have several years of practical experience in dealing with big data
• You already work with big data and have acquired extensive knowledge, which you can independently apply and pass on to us; Terms like data lake, date lakehouse and data warehouse are no foreign words to you
• You are familiar with programming in Python and the development of data pipelines and ETL processes, as well as the use of big data technologies and databases
• It's a plus if you have experience with cloud platforms (Azure), Microsoft Fabric, IoT and/or real-time data processing
• You have good knowledge of German and English to communicate with various stakeholders
